The holiday season is almost here and YOVASO is looking forward to hosting the Jingle Your Way to a Safe Holiday: Buckle Up and Celebrate Responsibly Jingle Contest! The goal of the contest is for students to develop creative jingles (a short song or tune) to influence their peers to buckle up and drive safely! Students are encouraged to enter the contest individually or in groups. Messaging should be centered on seat belt use, avoiding alcohol/drugs, celebrating/driving safely, and peer-to-peer messaging.

Jingles will be due by December 5 at 11:59 pm. The YOVASO staff will select the top six jingles in both the middle and high school divisions for public voting which will open December 8 and close at 11:59 pm on December 11. The winning jingle in both divisions will be announced on December 12 and will run on YOVASO’s social media pages through December 25 to remind students to drive safely and make good choices.
